Think for yourself

What gets us into trouble is not what we don't know.. It's what we know for sure that just ain't so.
Mark Twain

O ye who believe! stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah, even as against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, and whether it be (against) rich or poor: for Allah can best protect both. Follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest ye swerve, and if ye distort (justice) or decline to do justice, verily Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do. 4:135

Just look at us. Everything is backwards; everything is upside down. Doctors destroy health, lawyers destroy justice, universities destroy knowledge, governments destroy freedom, the major media destroys information and religions destroy spirituality.

‘What kind of jihad is better?’ He replied, ‘A word of truth in front of an oppressive ruler.’

Narrated Ma’qil: I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) saying:

“Any man whom Allah has given the authority of ruling some people and he does not look after them in an honest manner, will never feel even the smell of Paradise.”
